Style Tile

I was awarded the project to redesign www.bread.org as my style tile was chosen by the client (competing against three other designers) for the new visual direction of www.bread.org. I left Echo & Co. design agency to start my own business before I could see the project through to the final website redesign, but I do feel like the current executed redesign reflects my design direction pretty closely.

what is a style tile?

A style tile is more than a moodboard, but less than a full high-fidelity design mockup, and is used to define and communicate the overall visual direction of a website design. A style tile usually has design elements on it such as a photo treatment, color palette, logo, text styling treatments, and button styling (user interface design), and are used as reference when in the design phase of a project.
